Donnachadh O’Brien & Associates utilise the latest Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology throughout all design phases on our projects. Through training and development on Revit Structure, BIM enables us as civil and structural engineers to seamlessly coordinate structural design, drawing and detailing, minimize errors, effect design changes quickly and streamline collaboration between design teams. By incorporating 3D detailing through Revit, we integrated our design software tools such as Robot, Tekla Fastrack and Building Designer to support the structural design and information delivery process.
Our BIM works at DOB&A are carried out to the highest standard and in accordance with IS EN ISO Regulations (namely IS EN ISO 19650-1, IS EN ISO 19650-2 and PAS 1192 Frameworks) across numerous levels of model detail ranging from LOD1:Symbolic to LOD4:Specific.
Donnachadh O’Brien and Associates has 10 years’ experience in the analysis of piping systems in large scale data centre schemes and other similar projects. Our range of services typically extends to pipe stress analysis for various piping materials including HDPE and Carbon Steel based on the Client’s preferred pipe routing system. DOB&A also offer a design service for the associated pipe support bracketry where required
